Timberland

Timberland, a global lifestyle brand, has announced that it will plant 50 million trees worldwide by 2025 as part of its commitment to a greener future. Brief

Timberland has launched its largest global campaign ever: "NATURE NEEDS HEROES". To help fulfill its commitment of 50 million trees. Timberland is asking Treedom for a reforestation project inside the Great Green Wall (GGW), an 8,000 km long tree barrier that will cross all of Africa to combat climate change and drought.

Concept

In order to engage its customers, Timberland, together with Treedom, creates the "Timberland Forest" in Ghana, in an area that is part of the Great Green Wall project. The graphic of the Treedom tree is the protagonist of the fittings in the single-brand Timberland stores in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. Timberland has involved its customers by giving each of them one of the 26,760 trees of the "Timberland Forest" with a personalized eco-gadget, when purchasing its products. Treedom has created the "Plant the Change" campaign, of which it has created a dedicated landing page and produced exclusive photos and videos.
